- Data Storage (Local First)
Timenote is a privacy-first application. All of your data (sessions, folders, tags, and timeline events) is stored locally on your device using a secure SQLite database. We do not transmit, sell, or share your personal data with any external servers or third parties.
- Microphone Permission
Timenote requests access to your device's microphone solely for the "Voice Memos" feature. Audio recordings are saved locally on your device storage. We do not listen to, upload, or analyze your audio recordings.
- Android Auto Backup
We have explicitly disabled Android's Google Drive Auto-Backup to ensure deleted files (Trash Bin) are not accidentally restored to your device. If you switch devices, you can transfer your data using a physical cable transfer.
